More advanced than your classic facial or microdermabrasion treatment, resurfacers work by lightly dissolving the top layer of the skin using enzymes and acids that are derived from plant and fruit extracts.
Choose from a wide selection of resurfacers, targeting a range of skin concerns from acne to age management, leaving your skin looking and feeling great.
What is a Resurfacer?
A resurfacer uses natural acids and peptides, derived from plant and fruit extracts. These ingredients have deeply exfoliating properties to gently dissolve and remove the top layer of skin.
Removing the top layer of skin helps to eliminate the build-up of dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling revitalized and radiant.
What is a Resurfacer good for?
Resurfacers work amazingly on many skin types, helping to control breakouts as well as smoothing fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful look.
Using more advanced ingredients, resurfacers are great for those wanting to fix concerns within the skin including:
- Acne – Enlarged pores, blackheads
- Age Management – Fine lines and wrinkles
- Pigmentation – Sun damage, age spots

Preparing your skin
Prepping the skin before a Resurfacer is a crucial part of the treatment, this ensures safety and maximum results. Skin preparation should begin 2-4 weeks before a Resurfacer. Our preparation kit includes a Cleanser, Serum, Moisturiser and SPF30 Zink Oxide lasting 3-5 months.

What to expect after
After the resurfacing mask has been applied, your skin will feel warm. This heat will gradually increase for the first 4-6 minutes, before settling.
You may notice a slight redness after your treatment which can last up to 24 hours, however, typically skin returns back to normal after just 10 minutes. Depending on how much dead skin you have, you may experience some dry patches 2 to 3 days after your treatment, this will only last for 1 or 2 days before returning to normal.

Everyone! - Why are Resurfacers and Chemical peels better than Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a physical exfoliation only working on the top layer of the skin, this exfoliating treatment will only help the texture of the skin. Whereas Resurfacers and Chemical Peels use acids and enzymes for a chemical exfoliation, this works on the top layer of skin whilst also penetrating deep into the skin.
